Château de Longsard–Beaujolais Region

The Beautiful Life in a Castle

Description

At the gates of Lyon, in the Beaujolais region, Count and Countess Olivier du Mesnil du Buisson will open the doors of their Castle for you, acquired by them 20 years ago, with a traditional French garden

The Longsard Castle has all the elegance of the 18th century and the atmosphere of the 19th century that calls for a romantic and rustic getaway. Other remarkable guests stayed in Longsard such as lords, aristocrats, generals, and the king’s counselors and nobles which can be seen since the Castle still has their coat of arms engraved.

20 hectares of space, wood, shaded walkways surrounded by vineyards and meadows, and a beautiful French garden surrounded by another English-style landscape that is offered to you by the owners, a wonderful Franco-American couple, Olivier and Alexandra.

Welcome to the lounge and enjoy a dinner from a great century, vintage furniture, fire in the fireplace, guests from around the world and Beaujolais wine in your glass! And then, here and there, in the rooms, like a cabinet of curiosities, in the middle of the woodwork, there's a random Amazon headdress from an Indian tribe that is full of history and years of memories provided to you by this international and bilingual couple.

A royal getaway and an ideal stay for our aesthetic travelers and of course our WineChicTravelers.

5 prestige rooms in the Castle and self-catering cottages in the Park.
