Freestone Vineyards. The cool climate and Gold Ridge soil series of the Freestone area provides ideal conditions for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the estate-owned vineyards. Both organic and biodynamic farming methods are utilized in the vineyards. The winery is located within the vineyards and built into the hillside to reduce both volume and footprint.
