Château des Arras. One after the other, dungeon, fifteenth century military outpost, then sixteenth century noble residence, the château des Arras was then transformed into a country residence. The defensive aspects of the property are removed, the moats filled in, the drawbridge is replaced with a double staircase and two wings are added to the main building. The superb Bordelais property is now dedicated to viticulture. A 27 hectare estate with a single vineyard bordered by stone walls. Claudine Rozier, a wine grower, manages the family estate and cultivates it sustainably. Supple, balanced wines with silky tannins, both for the Prestige blend and the other treasures of the Château des Arras.
